If you have little tots running around the house, it can be a struggle to clean up after them. However, there are certain tips you can use to make this job easier. For example, if your budding Picasso has decided to “decorate” the blinds with his crayons, here is how you can get rid of the marks.
First, vacuum up all dust on the blinds using the machine’s duster attachment. This will provide you a cleaner space for removing the crayon doodles. Next, spray some petroleum-based lubricant on the areas marked by the crayons then wipe this off using a paper towel. Get two cups of warm water and mix these with a few drops of liquid soap in a small container. Soak a paper towel in the mixture you have made and rub this down the blinds. When the residues have been cleaned up, use plain warm water to rinse off the slats and allow them to air dry.
